Skoda was established in 1895 by Vaclav Laurin, who was a cycle mechanic by profession and Vaclav Klement, a bookseller. The company was started in the city of Mlada Boleslav, Initially focusing on manufacturing bicycles under the name Laurin & Klement. In 1905, Introduced their first car named ‘Voiturette A’, marking their first step in the automotive industry.
